Barotrauma is a tense submarine simulation game with with survival, strategy and horror elements, where you attempt to survive under the frozen seas of Jupiter’s moon. Hello charlotte heaven's gate.
Set in a distant future where humanity is trying to colonise Europa, Jupiter’s moon, Barotrauma sees you managing your submarine as you try to survive in a hostile underwater environment. It’s playable in single-player or online co-op, with you able to take on the role of the captain, engineer, mechanic, medic or assistant, with you operating your onboard systems and trying to deal with everything the seas of Europa throw at you.
You’ll pilot your submarine through procedurally generated environments, explore alien ruins, salvage wrecked submarines, gather resources and discover powerful artefacts. However, you’ll have to be careful – the waters of Barotrauma aren’t uninhabited, there are dangerous creatures that you’ll either have to fight or flee from.
