Chapter 1

After having slept for many hours your HP and NP are fully restored.

She stared blankly up at the blue notification box for a long time, not quite understanding what she was reading. She had just been through the most traumatizing experience of her life, birth, and she was now hallucinating. 'This is fantastic, just what I needed.' She thought sarcastically, looking around the nursery she had been placed in.

She couldn't actually see much since she was tightly swaddled in a soft pink blanket, just a large glass window. There were some people standing on the other side looking in at the babies within. She grimaced when she saw floating names and levels above their heads. She was officially losing her mind.

She yawned. 'Why am I so tired?' She thought as her eyelids dropped and she succumbed to sleep.

Undertale for mac. Her eyes ripped open as fear gripped her.

Through a special action a new skill has been created. Detect Bloodlust.

Detect Bloodlust (Passive)
Helps you detect bloodlust and its location

Her eyes frantically looked around. It was dark in the nursery, meaning it was night time. Her eyes landed on a shrouded figure behind the window. He wore a turban like cap that hid his eyes and baggy robe/dress thing. There was a red transparent arrow gently bobbing above his head pointing down at him and underneath that was his name. Her eyes widened in shock at what she read.

Ging Freecss
Hunter Lvl ?

'Ging Freecss! You've got to be kidding me!' She huffed, frowning at the man, no, child, he was definitely in his mid to late teens. 'Wait…' She raised a brow at him. 'Is he using Bloodlust on me?' She could not believe his audacity.

While the newborn internally berated the man, Ging observed the child. His child. He raised a brow to mirror the little girl. He had blasted a tiny bit of bloodlust at her out of curiosity and yet all she was doing was giving him an unimpressed look.

'What an interesting child you are.'

Long after Ging left, the newborn laid glaring up at the ceiling with great annoyance. Why, why of all places she had to be born in did it have to be the world of Hunter x Hunter? She huffed. She didn't even know all that much about this place. She had only watched the anime up until a few episodes after Gon hit Hisoka for the first time at Heavens Arena. What the hell happens after that? And why the hell was Ging so f&^%ing young?

Any information she had about the show was all second hand, memes and fanfiction. A terrible thought came to her. Is Pitou real? Does hisoka actually try and rape gon!? Was there an insect apocalypse!? She hoped to whatever deity ruled this planet that all of that was just part of someone's bad fanfiction.

She groaned pitifully making one of the nurses scurrying around the room come check on her. She didn't want this at all. She may not have watched much of the anime but she read enough online to not want to live in this world. How was she supposed to protect herself?

….

She glanced at the words floating above her head. The title The Gamer right under her name. 'That's right,' She thought. 'I have the most OP power ever.'

She focused, 'Profile!'

'Gen Freecss? Thats my name? So he's my..father?' She wasn't sure how to feel about that. She wasn't interested in being the main character to this fucked up world, but that meant she had a hell of a lot of potential.

She studied the rest of her profile with a grimace. It seems that her HP is dependent on her physical stats which explains why it's so low. Her NP is dependent on her WIS and INT? But that makes no sense, didn't you have to be physically strong to use Nen? Damnit, this is what she gets for not watching the rest of the show.

She yawned and once again fell asleep.

The next time she was able to make a coherent thought was when she woke to gentle rocking. Her nose twitched as she smelled the salt in the air. 'A boat?' she wondered, but fell asleep almost immediately.

This time she woke up to raised voices. She was in Ging's arms inside a house. Gen looked around for the source of the angry voice. Her eyes landed on a young teen and an old woman.

Mito Freecss
something lvl ?

Agnes Freecss
something lvl ?

Their levels were too high? But it only has 1 question mark instead of 2 like Ging.

She looked up at Ging when he started talking. He looked like an older version of Gon except with brown hair and slight dusting of hair on his chin. Gen frowned, he looked tired and broken. She reached up and patted his cheek making him look down at her with a startled look. She gave him a toothless smile and coo'ed at him.

His face changed into a soft smile and moved his head to kiss her hand. She giggled as his chin fuss tickled her hand.

He turned his attention back to Mito and Agnes, a softer look on his face. 'Onegai Mito, Obachan,' Was the only thing she understood. Gen ended up falling asleep soon after.

It took months after her father left before she was able to stay awake for more than a few minutes at a time. and even longer to figure out how to crawl.

Eventually at age 1 she had mastered walking and soon after she thankfully had no need for a diaper.

Now came her biggest challenge yet. Training.

It wasn't that she didn't know how. she'd had a friend who was a gym nut in her past life that loved dragging her to his training, so she was well versed in body conditioning. The problem was her aunt. She had a thing against hunters thanks to her father, so Gen couldn't train around her.

'I'm gowin explrin, aunty Mido, gwanma!' Gen yelled as she ran out the back door.

'Ok! Make sure you're back for dinner!' Mito yelled back from inside the house.

In Whale Island Mito didn't have to worry much about Gen's safety since the dangers only came from the aquatic animals and some plants. As long as she didn't go swimming, eat the plants and avoided Snakebeech Forest then she was safe, so it wasn't unusual for her to go off on her own

Once at the treeline she stopped for a moment to look down at the watch she had snatched from the study and hit the timer on the side. She started running.

She ran through the woods for 15 minutes before she grew tired. She forced herself to keep moving for another few minutes.

+1 VIT

Rpg In A Box Crack Filler

She came to a stop and clutched her knees, panting. After a few seconds her fatigue was gone and she straightened up. She opened up her profile, today wasn't so much for training as it was for finding out what each stat brought to the table. Her VIT dictated how long she could do things for but what was the limit? How long in terms of minutes was she able to push herself for? She now had 4 points in VIT, her theory at the moment was that each point was 5 minutes. She closed her profile and looked at the watch, checking her time. She took off in a run. At the 20 minute mark she grew tired.

+1 VIT
+1 INT

She grinned and whooped. Each point meant an additional 5 minutes worth of stamina. She shoved the watch into her inventory and looked around. She was definitely in the middle of the forest now. She didn't have anything to worry about though. The more only danger in Whale Island was the aquatic animals and the plants. So long as she didn't jump into the water or started eating plants then she would be fine.

She wanted to know what her STR points equaled, so she started walking around to see what she could lift, Observing everything she laid her eyes on. She found plenty of poison mushrooms and other herbs that she plucked and shoved into her inventory.

She finally found an outcropping of boulders. Some were too big while others too heavy. She Observed them until she found one that was 50 lb. She wrapped her arms around it and tried to lift it. After a bit of struggle she was forced to give up. She didn't even make it budge! She went back to looking through the boulders before she found a few that weighed just 10'ish pounds. She was able to hold 3 of them no problems but she couldn't lift the fourth one. She kept trying to lift it but she ended up slipping and falling on her butt. She huffed and grabbed the 3 rocks and started looking for something else. She found one that was 2 lb and was unable to move it.

'Ok well that answers that.' She thought as she dropped the rocks. 1 STR point is equal to 5 lb. 'Now for speed.' She started walking but stopped when she heard loud growling coming from her stomach. She turned back to the boulders and climbed up the biggest one. She sat at the top and pulled out an apple from her inventory. She looked through her profile as she munched on her snack. She had been wrong before. NP is based on her physical stats as well as her wisdom. That's why it's so high already. She has higher wisdom that some of the adults she's seen since she got here. It probably has to do with having died and being reborn. That was the only explanation she had at the moment.

Gen finished her apple and tossed the core away. She jumped down from the bolder, which was a huge mistake because she slipped and tumbled down the rocks landing on her face.

Physical Endurance Lvl 0 (0% to next level) (Passive)
The body's durability increases, allowing for less damage taken. Does not work against Nen. 0% decrease in physical damage

'Owy.' She whimpered, tears gathering in her eyes as she clutched her now throbbing wrist. She pouted when she saw it would take 5 whole minutes for her wrist to heal. Well she didn't need her wrist to run. She held her wrist against her stomach and went to look for a good place to run sprints. Her wrist was fully healed by the time she found a large enough clearing. After stretching her legs she took off in a sprint. She ran the diameter of the clearing at top speed for 30 minutes before she grew tired.

Just before she stopped she got a point in AGI and in VIT. 'So sprinting gets her more benefits than just jogging? Good to know,' Gen thought as she panted clutching her knees as she waited for her fatigue to leave her.

Once she could breathe again. She sprinted again. This time she lasted for 35 minutes and was much faster. She sat down and looked at her profile doing some math. From what she could see, every point in AGI dictated how far she could move in 5 seconds. So she could move 3 feet in 5 seconds? She grimaced. 'That's bad.'

She got up and started sprinting, she had 10 years before she was to take the Hunter's Exam and she would spend as much time grinding as she could. Gon had not been weak by any means, but let's be honest if people hadn't taken a liking to him he would have died. She couldn't rely on that. She needed to be strong if she wanted to survive in this world.

She obviously didn't know Gon's stats going into the exams but she knew he had to train to be able to open the first door of the Zoldycks testing gate with the help of Leorio and Kurapika. The door weighed..a ton? So 2,000 lb? Which meant she needed at least 400 points in STR. She didn't have a reference for his other stats. The first phase of the exam only said how far it was not how long it took to complete it, but he hadn't even been winded by the end of the run!

She pouted, she'd just train until she could run that far at a decent pace then. Her goal for now was gonna be a minimum of 400 points in each physical stat.

She grinned as she read the rewards. 40,000 XP? That's awesome! She had years to finish this quest, but she better get started. She jumped up and started sprinting through the forest. She had another quest to accomplish too, and that was to explore the entirety of Whale Island. She ran, only stopping when she got her stat. Whenever she stopped she would drop to the ground and do push ups until she got a STR point.

Slowly the days turned to weeks, the weeks turned to months and months into years.

Gen grunted as she held onto the cliff side with one hand. She tried to recall how she had ended up in this situation.

Flashback

It's been three years since she began training and she was now six. She gained stats like nobody's business and after the first year she managed to hit 100 on each of her stats which gained her some amazing perks

(STR) Iron fist- Physical attacks do double the damage.

(VIT) Health nut- +100/s to Health regeneration

(AGI) Ambidextrous- Can use your non dominant hand as perfectly as your dominant

(INT) Mini map

She'd gotten so strong that she'd even surpassed the docksmen! She was proud of herself. Then at 5 years old, she hit a wall.

She needed to sprint for 31 hours and do 4,700 push-ups to gain any more stats. Obviously at that point it was a waste of time. So she came up with a new way to train. Instead of plain running she had picked up a boulder and ran with that instead. Instead of push-ups she did squats while holding the boulder. She would have preferred some weights but she wasn't gonna bother asking Aunt Mito since she already knew the answer. A big fat NO.

It was going well. She was gaining stats daily again. Of course she had been neglecting her luck so the universe decided to fuck with her. It had rained the night before so it was somewhat slippery. She was doing her usual run with the boulder when she slipped. It all went downhill from there, literally. She managed to keep her balance with the boulder on her back as she slid down the hill, then her foot got caught on a root. She flipped forward and the damn Boulder crushed her. She actually felt her back and ribs crack.

It didn't end there.

Once the boulder bounced off her the mudslide that had formed dragged her down a ravine, where she was dragged under water and slammed into rocks. She actually wasn't sure what happened after that. She woke up from a seagull pecking at her head and a metallic taste in her mouth.

End flashback.

Oh yeah that's how she got there. She must have unconsciously grabbed on to the side as she was falling. It's a good thing she had, even with water under her a fall from this height would have definitely killed her. She wasn't sure if she was lucky or unlucky at this point

She opened her profile and grimaced at what she saw. She was beyond broken. To be specific; everything other than her left arm was broken. If it wasn't for her perks and Physical Endurance she would be dead. She hissed as her bones ground against each other as the Game fixed her. She did not in fact have a gamers body, instead she had a ridiculously accelerated healing rate, so her broken body would be fully healed in about 2 minutes.

Seriously this game was broken.

She frowned at the sun, it was afternoon, late. She needed to get home before dinner. The last time she failed to get home on time Mito had mobilized the entire island's habitants to find her. The poor woman had been so worried for her, she had been in tears when Gen was returned to her. The not-child had actually felt guilty and had promised her she wouldn't be late in coming home again.

She had a little while before it was dark so she wouldn't be breaking her promise.

As soon as she could move without feeling like her bones were grinding against each other she started climbing. Halfway up something caught her eye. It was a cave with a tree on the inside growing out. She's never seen that before. She shook her head squashing down the urge to explore. She needed to get home soon. She made a mental note to come back another day. When she reached the top she laid on her back staring up at the setting sun. Maybe she should take a few days and focus on her other training for a while.

Gen made it home on time. She slowly pushed the door open, listening for her aunt. She was in the kitchen. 'Aunt Mito, grandma, I'm home!' She called out as she shuffled to the stair.

'Welcome home Gen!' They answered back. 'Come over here, dinner is almost ready.' Mito called her.

Gen grimaced. She couldn't let her minders see her in the state she was in. 'Umm I'm kinda tired so I'm just gonna shower and go to bed early.' She yelled running up the stairs not waiting for a response. She had rinsed herself off before getting home, so as to not track blood and mud all over the place.

She made her way into the bathroom and winced when she caught sight of herself in the mirror.

Her clothes were definitely not salvageable, so she shoved them into the trash bag. She quickly showered and wrapped herself in her towel. After confirming that her aunt and grandma were downstairs she grabbed the garbage bag full of her muddy clothes and made a mad dash to her room. They were used to her coming home muddy but if she saw the blood aunt Mito would freak. She'll have to toss it in the dumpster later that night.

Once she was dressed in her pink-blegh-pajamas she settled on her bed. She opened her profile and glared at her LUK. She could have died! She wasn't interested in finding out if she would be reincarnated again or not. She huffed and pulled out a handful of coins. The best way to increase luck was with gambling.

She closed her eyes and tossed them into the air and listened as they fell on her comforter. She threw 20, so 10 tails 10 heads. When she opened her eyes her mouth fell open.

+1 LUK

All 20 were Head! She huffed and grabbed them, tossing them up again. This time she guessed 20 Tails. When she opened her eyes she sweatdropped. 10 Head 10 Tails. WTF?

She huffed and continued tossing the coins until she heard her minders turning in for the night. She listened quietly until she was sure the women were asleep. She grabbed the trash bag and jumped out her window. She tossed the bag into the dumpster and made her way back into her room.

She jumped onto her bed and opened her profile. Her eyes widened when she caught the change in her Nen recovery. It seems that LUK affects her Nen recovery. She grinned, it seems LUK is more important than she realised.

*Yawn* Gen yawned before she continued to slowly put food in her mouth. Mito and Agnes were looking at her in amusement as they ate their breakfast. 'My, you must have been really tired from playing all day yesterday, Gen.' Mito said as she chuckled at the drowsy child.

'Mhmm.' Gen muttered, laying her head on the table. She had spent all night grinding LUK and just when she decided to call it a night, Mito came knocking at her door to get ready for breakfast. Her VIT allowed her to be active for over 30 hours but she had been up all day yesterday and all night so she had finally reached her limit.

She fell asleep at the table and woke up a few hours later fully refreshed. She jumped off the sofa where Mito must have laid her.

She ran out of the house and into the forest. She wasn't gonna do training today but there were some other skills she has been meaning to work on but kept putting off.

In the anime Killua claimed to be completely immune to poison. Gen thought that it might have to do to his genes and having built up immunity over time. She obviously couldn't do anything about her genes but she could work on her immunity.

She climbed up a tree and settled herself on a high branch. She opened her inventory and pulled out a Hogweed plant. When she had picked this one up she had made sure to wear gloves. According to her Observe the leaves and sap contain chemicals called furocoumarins. Which upon contact the skin erupts in severe blisters if exposed to sunlight. It could also blind her if it got in her eyes. She rubbed the plant on the back of her hand and let the sunlight hit it.

-200HP

She hissed and whimpered when her skin turned into blisters and popped. Thankfully it only lasted the 2 seconds it took for her HP to recover. This time she rubbed the plant over both hands, and when she exposed it to the light she lost 800 health.

'All right!' She yelled, scaring the birds roosting in the tree. 'It worked!' She spent the next few hours grinding with different poison plants. Although she was careful to stay away from any that her Observe said would kill her.

Box

By the time lunch rolled around she had her new skill at lvl 14. She was satisfied with the progress she had made for now and would not bother dodging the plants when she ran anymore.

'What else can I do?' She bit her thumb in thought. She didn't want to play with Nen until she had got the 400 points in her physical stats since she wasn't sure if it would affect her negatively if she wasn't ready. 'Oh!' She dropped her fist into her hand as a thought came to her. 'A weapon!'

She started climbing down the tree. She could start learning how to wield a weapon. She ran back home, she would look through the attic and see if her grandfather left anything of interest in there. The man had been a fisherman so he was bound to have something that could be turned into a weapon. Anything would do, after all Gon had used a fishing rod.

When she arrived at the house she noticed that Mito wasn't there but her grandmother was in the living room knitting. 'Where's Aunt Mito?' She asked, moving to the stairs.

Agnes looked at her in surprise. 'Oh my! You usually don't get home until late dear. What are you doing here?' The older woman asked.

Gen grinned 'I'm gonna go through grandpa's things and see if I can find something useful in there. I'm gonna need a weapon if I'm gonna be a Hunter.' She said. Her grandmother was the only person Gen had told about her desire to be a Hunter. The old woman had no problems with it and in fact encouraged her to follow her dreams.

Agnes' eyes widened. 'Oh? Well okay child. I'm sure you'll find something useful in there.' She said. Gen nodded and headed upstairs. She jumped up and grabbed the string that would pull the attic ladder down. She didn't come up here often since Mito had said that it was full of old junk left by her grandfather.

She poked her head over the entrance and sneezed. It was hella dusty. She pulled her shirt over her nose and looked over the dust covered boxes. They had what must have been labels but were too faded for her to read so she started opening boxes at random. The first few only had nicknacks and photo albums. She kept rifling through the boxes until she found a 2 foot long box. She set it on the ground and opened it.

She frowned when she took in the boxes' contents. A dismantled fishing rod. She Observed it and her eyes widened when she read the description.

Ging Freecss Fishing Rod
The fishing rod gifted to Ging by his father before he died.
+10% to Agility when wielded with Nen.

Gen let out a breath of disbelief. 'Wow'

'So you found it.' Gen whirled around at the sound of her grandmother's voice. The old woman was peeking over the entrance of the attic. She was looking at Gen with a soft look and a smile on her face.

She climbed into the attic and kneeled in front of Gen taking the box from her. 'Unlike you, Ging didn't want to be a Hunter until just days before he left for the exam.' She said putting the rod together. 'He didn't know what he wanted to do with his life for the longest time. But you, oh you have known what you wanted since you came to us. Your dream is a hard one to achieve, child.' She finished assembling the fishing rod. Agnes smiled holding out the rod to the child. 'I'm sure this will come in handy in your journey.'

Gen reached her hand toward the fishing rod only to push it back to the old woman, surprising her. 'No thanks.' She said turning back to the boxes waving her hand at the old woman. 'I don't want to be a copy of my father. I'll find my own way.'

Agnes stared after the child in surprise. She had thought she would be delighted to use her father's choice of weapon seeing as she was always begging for more stories of the man. She started chuckling 'I think I understand now.' Gen looked back at the older woman in confusion. 'Come with me child.'

Gen frowned and followed her out of the attic. They went into the study, her grandfather's old study. Agnes went over to the large family picture hanging behind the large mahogany desk. 'Now don't tell Mito this but your grandfather, my husband, was a Hunter at one point.'

Gen's eyes widened at that. 'He was?' She didn't know if that was part of the show or not.

Her grandmother nodded before pulling the picture frame, revealing a wall safe. 'He was a long time ago, until he decided to settle here with me.' She twisted the lock a few times until it opened. 'The Hunter blood runs deep in your veins.' She said, pulling out a box similar to the one containing Ging's fishing rod.

'You remind me a lot of your grandfather. And that's why you should have this' She said handing over the box. Gen took the offered box and opened it. She gasped and almost dropped the box.

Benny's Knife #1
The first knife created by Benny Delon after his first kill.
It is infused with the will and Nen of the murderous blacksmith.
This particular knife can absorb poisons and mix them together to create a more powerful mix. Must use Nen to activate.

The blade was just less than a foot long and glowing with an iridescent hue and very sharp. The handle was some kind of black wood wrapped with a dark green thin rope. At the end of the handle was a hook. She could actually feel a menacing aura emanating from the dagger-like knife.

Based on her grandmother's calm expression, Gen could assume that the woman had no idea what she had just handed the six year old.

'The knife was gifted to your grandfather by an old friend of his.' Agnes said, giving the knife a small smile. 'For some reason your grandfather never touched it though. He placed it in his safe and never removed it.'

Gen put the lid back on the box and let out a breath of relief when she could suddenly breathe better. She looked up at her grandmother. 'Why?'

The old woman gave her a thoughtful look. 'Your grandfather said that the knife already had a master and that it wasn't him.' She moved around Gen and to the studie's entrance. 'He said that only the blade's master could control the blade. I never understood what he meant but perhaps you might be the one.' She said walking away.

Gen shook her head. Seriously her grandmother was so odd. Gen looked down at the box in her hands before she shoved it into her inventory. She would leave it there until she could control Nen.

Now she kinda had a weapon, she wanted to create some more skills so she could spend the next few years grinding. 'Hmmm what else can I do?' She thought as she made her way downstairs. 'What skills would be useful as a Hunter? Hmmm how about trapping?'

She spent the rest of the day hassling the fishermen to teach her how to trap crayfish, earning her the new skill.

The next day Gen made her way back to the cliff with the cave. She easily made her way down the side of the cliff. Using the tree as a platform she peered inside. There wasn't anything of interest that she could see. She hoped of the tree and into the cave. As soon as her feet hit the ground a notification appeared.

Congratulations! You have located the instant dungeon of Whale Island!

Would you like to enter?
Yes or No?

Be warned you must reach the end before you are allowed to leave.

She immediately pressed the yes button. The mouth of the cave disappeared and a stone wall took its place. There was only the briefest moment where Gen was engulfed in darkness until the lanterns appeared on the walls every few feet apart. Gen stuffed her hands into her shorts and started making her way down the cave. After a few minutes she heard a sound, something was coming to her. She tensed up as it got closer. When the source of the sound appeared she sweatdropped. A level 1 blue crab about the size of a chihuahua appeared. It 'menancily' snapped its pincers at her. Its stats weren't all that impressive either. The child sighed and stomped on it making it screech.

Gen raised a brow when it dissolved leaving behind gold coins and a crab shell.

Rpg In A Box Crack Key

+20XP + 25% = 25

She pouted when she Observed her winnings. 100¥ and poor quality chitin. 'How disappointing' she thought as she tossed her items into her inventory. She continued her walk through the dungeon.

Another crab appeared, same as before. She went ahead to stomp on it but the creature actually dodged her. It was of no consequence. She just kicked it against the wall. It died easily enough.

+20XP + 25% = 25

This time instead of poor quality chitin she got poor quality crab meat. 'Yippy' She thought sarcastically as she continued down the cave. When another crab appeared she went to stomp on it but it dodged. When she went to kick it it dodged again and attacked her. She merely caught it and crushed it in her hand. 'Hmmm I think I'm getting it now.' The crabs were studying her attack pattern and adjusting their movements accordingly. 'Maybe it won't be a waste of time after all.'

From then on she made sure to do something new each time so her fighting style wouldn't be predictable. Several dead crabs later she encountered something new.

A level 2 blue lobster slightly larger than the crab. This time she got 40XP, 200¥ and poor quality chitin out of it. She killed them as easily as she had the crabs.

The next animal she encountered was a level 3 blue bat. Again easily killed earning her 60 XP, 300¥ and low quality bat fur.

She frowned and bit her thumb in thought. There was a pattern here that she wasn't quite seeing. She opened her inventory and counted her winning from each animal. She killed 10 crabs and 10 lobsters. 'So the animal type changes every 10 kills? Huh ok interesting.'

Every time the animal changes she increases her winnings. If that's the case she might actually level up soon. 'It's been a while since she last leveled up.

She continued through the dungeon killing the creatures sent at her. After the bats were water scorpions, gross. It was poisonous. She actually let it bite her so she could grind her Poison Resistance. It took away HP by the second but it wasn't very strong so she didn't get much out of it. Then came a blind snake, BLIND! It used its tongue to find her and was also poisonous. After the blind snake came salamanders. They were toxic and their poison a lot stronger but nothing she couldn't handle.

Midway through killing the salamanders she leveled up for the first time in months.

She whooped. She hadn't leveled up in a while since she only got experience from chores and the little quest her family gave her. She dismissed the notification and continued on her way in a much brighter mood.

Then came spiders. She was mildly scared of spiders and was in no way letting them touch her so she resorted to kicking them.

Once she had killed the spiders the cave started dipping into water. The first animal she encountered was an eel. They moved fast in the water but her stats were much higher so she had no problems grabbing it by the tail and slamming it into the wall. Then she encountered oversized tadpoles with razor sharp fangs. Stupid easy to kill. At least she leveled up again.

Gen pouted as she continued wading through the water. It seemed she was meant to find this cave when she was first starting to train. Even though her level was low, her stats were much higher than even the men on the island; this dungeon seemed to only be good for XP and the money.

Gen stopped walking when she reached a wall.

Congratulations! You've reached the end of the dungeon.

Would you like to:
face the final boss or leave?

Be warned if you leave you will have to start over before facing the final boss.
If you choose to stay and fight you will not be allowed to leave until you win or die.

Gen of course opted for fighting. As soon as she made her choice the wall in front of her crumbled, opening up to a very large cavern. The cavern had a large pool of water at the center surrounded by a natural walkway made of rocks. There was an open space at the top that let a bit of sunlight shine down and illuminate the area.

Gen walked around the edge of the pool studying the area. She stopped when bubbles started rising at the center of the pool. Something large rose up from the water sending water everywhere. It was a large blue fish with skeletal-like legs and huge shark-like teeth.

Master of the Swamp Lvl 10

Gen's eyes widened when she saw what it was. 'You've got to be kidding me! It's huge!' She Observed it, her mouth fell open when she saw its stats, they were lower than hers!

She pouted, 'I thought dungeons were supposed to be hard,' She thought as the monster's eyes landed on her. Its eyes narrowed and it let out a roar of anger. It charged at her through the water. Gen waited until it got closer before jumping to the side as the creature launched itself out of the water, its mouth wide open. It clamped down on the wall behind where Gen had been standing at.

She raised a brow when the creature pulled back shaking its head. A large imprint of the creature's mouth had been left on the wall.

The creature turned to her with a glare and charged at her again.

She let it attack her a few more times watching as it continued to slam into the walls trying to catch her. Whenever it did that there were a few seconds where it reared back and shook its head. That's when she needed to attack.

As soon as it rammed into the wall she jumped. She yelled as she landed a kick on its side.

-9,400 HP

She flipped back and landed on the walkway. She grinned when she saw that one attack took nearly half of its HP. The creature circled the pool a few times before it jumped out of the water. It landed on the wall, walking up the side like a freaking spider. It glared at Gen and charged her. She quickly found out that even though it was slower on land, it had better maneuverability. Gen cursed as she just barely dodged the damn thing.

She jumped back only to be met with air. She yelled as she fell into the water, the creature following after her. She took a deep breath and dove down. She could hold her breath for 4 minutes and 28 seconds. 'I won't need that much time though.' She thought, swimming to the bottom.

She stood at the bottom of the pool watching the creature circle above before diving down and charging at her. She reared her left fist back and waited. Punching only did half as much damage as kicking. But it was all she needed this time.

When the monster got close enough she pushed off the floor. She winced when the creature's fangs sliced her side before it slammed into ground.

-700 - 46% = 378HP

She twisted and slammed her fist into its eye.

Critical Hit!

-4,700 x 3 = -14,100 HP

+5,000 EXP + 25% = 6,250

She grinned as the monster dissolved into nothing leaving behind money, scales and 2 Health potions! Yay!

The scales were of good quality and had a very pretty blue tint to them. They were worth quite a bit, she'd sell that later.

She started to swim up but then the world changed around her. She looked around in confusion. She was back at the entrance of the cave completely dry.

Would you like to enter?
Yes or No?

Be warned you must reach the end before you are allowed to leave.

She looked at her watch, only a few minutes had passed. She bit her thumb in thought before opting to press No. The dungeon was good for experience but she still needed to train her stats. She'll come back some other time.

For the next few years Gen continued to train. She visited the dungeon every once in a while to get more Health potions, though she stopped when she reached level 10, it was so easy, It wasn't worth it anymore although after killing the boss she did get the perk Aqua girl doubled the length of time she could hold her breath.

She did go into Snakebeech Forest at one point to collect the plants there but decided to avoid the Foxbears, she had no interest in fighting them as that would make the pack more violent toward the rest of the island's inhabitants. Prison architect - aficionado cracked.

At age 7 she reached 300 points in her physical stats, getting her some more perks. She also earned several more perks for training on the island.

At age 8 she told her aunt she wanted to be a Hunter. They had a huge fight about it that resulted in them not talking to each other for a while after and it got to the point where Gen decided to live in the woods for a while. Her aunt could be terrifying when she wanted to be. After about a month Mito finally came for her and apologized for yelling. She was still not ok with Gen becoming a Hunter but she wouldn't fight her on it.

At 11 something crazy happened! Gen had been out in the woods most of the day like usual when she got a weird notification.

You don't get to see him for years

Gen bolted to the house.

She got there fairly quickly thanks to her new Flash perk and high AGI she could cover over 120 meters in just a few seconds. Whale Island was small; it only took the average person 4 hours of walking to get from one end to the other, it only took her nearly 20 minutes to get back to the house from where she was.

She burst through the door when she got there. Gen froze and felt the blood drain from her face at what she saw.

Aunt Mito was saying something but Gen wasn't listening, she was staring at the little bundle in her aunt's arms. It was a little boy no older than a few months old with large brown eyes and dark green spiky hair.

Gen couldn't breath, everything she had thought was wrong. She wasn't the main character. She turned and ran. She could still catch him if she hurried.

Even if she was fast it still took her a bit to get to the docks.

She jumped onto one of the nearby shops, earning her shouts from the people below, and scanned the boats. Her eyes narrowed on a man boarding one of the bigger fishing boats. It was definitely Ging.

Gen cursed when she saw she had less than 30 seconds. She ran and jumped over the roofs heading to Gings boat. It was starting to depart pulling away from the docks and she was running out of roof! 'I can make it! I can make it! I can make it!' 'I can make it!' She shouted, launching herself off the roof.

She ignored the yells and screams of the people below her, focusing on her target. She grinned when she landed in a crouch on the railing of the boat surprising everyone on deck. 'I did it!'

She looked around the deck and scowled when she saw Ging trying to sneak away. He would have succeeded if it wasn't for his name floating lazily above him. He looked older and wore the same closets as before. There were 3 question marks over his head now.

She took a deep breath 'GING!' she yelled as loud as she could making the man wince and look back at her warily.

She panted, glaring at him. For the past 11 years she's done nothing but train and worry about her future only to find out that not only was she too early but that she wasn't even the main character!

As she stood there glaring at her 'father' all she could feel was..relief.

She looked down so her bangs hid her eyes. 'I get it.' She said. 'I'm not mad cause I get it.'

While the others on the boat looked at each other in confusion Ging's eyes widened in understanding.

'I'll make sure he understands too. So don't worry.' She looked up at him with a huge grin. 'In a few months I'll be 12. I'll be taking the Hunters Exam and I'll pass on my first try! Then I'll travel the world and surpass you.' She yelled with determination before looking away feeling oddly shy. She smiled and rubbed the back of her head. 'So watch me, ok?'

Ging smiled back at her 'Well see.'

She laughed and turned around ready to dive into the water. She hesitated and turned her head to look at Ging. 'I suggest you look up what a condom is.' She said, laughing when his face turned red. She turned and dove into the water.
