The time has arrived for PC and Mac 'The Elder Scrolls Online' players, as the 'Dragon Bones' downloadable content pack is now live and ready for them to download. The main features of this new DLC pack are two new dungeons – Fang Lair and Scalecaller Peak.
- Today ZeniMax Online and Bethesda announced that the next dungeon DLC pack for Elder Scrolls Online is set to release on February 24th for PC/Mac and March 10th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
- To see how the Elder Scrolls Online really performs on Mac, we tested it on these six machines: iMac 27-Inch (5K, Late 2014): 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M290X (2GB) MacBook Pro 15-inch (Touch/Mid-2017): 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 560 (4GB).
- In The Elder Scrolls Online, experience one connected world and stay up-to-date with everything your friends are doing in one of the most socially enabled games ever. Whether you play alone or with your friends, the game’s innovative combat system allows you to focus on action and tactics, not the UI.

Removed Items & Services[edit]
Palomino Horse[edit]
The Palomino Horse was first sold on the website for $14.99/€11.99 soon after launch (see note).
Imperial Edition Upgrade[edit]
At launch, standard accounts could upgrade to the digital Imperial Edition through the online store for $20/€25. This must now be done through the in-game Crown Store (see note).
Tamriel Unlimited and Account Copy for Consoles[edit]
From April 9 to May 9 2015, accounts which purchased ESO before June 30 2014 were given the option to purchase a digital copy of the game along with an account transfer for $20.00 / €14.99 / £12.99 for both PS4 and Xbox One. The account transfer would copy all characters and items over to the console megaservers, including Imperial Edition upgrades, and is therefore the only way to obtain certain items on the console. Copying accounts would not delete characters from the PC/Mac megaservers, allowing for continued play on both. Accounts could also be transferred to both consoles, resulting in three copies, but the transfer cost must be paid twice.
Notes[edit]
- The Imperial Edition Upgrade and Palomino Horse previously on sale in the Store were moved to the in-game Crown Store. This has resulted in them subsequently being bound to the server on which they are purchased, so they will need to be purchased twice to be used on both servers. Purchases of the upgrade and mount that were made before they were moved to the Crown Store have remained account-wide, and are available on both servers.[verification needed] The Palomino Horse has since been removed from the Crown Store and is therefore no longer available for purchase.
- Before the advent of the Crown Store, a number of pets were seemingly intended to be store purchases. These included: Pet Rufous Mudcrab, Pet Banekin, Pet Housecat, Pet Pony Guar, Pet Crony Scrib, Pet Argozog, Pet Retriever, Pet Scamp, Pet Scuttler, and Pet Wolfhound.

Dragon Bones DLC Game Pack
With the Dragon Bones DLC game pack, you will be able to explore two all-new four-player dungeons.
Scalecaller Peak
Zaan the Scalecaller has returned with a new patron, the Daedric Prince of Pestilence, Peryite. With her new master's help, she threatens to unleash a deadly new plague upon all of Tamriel. You must enter the long-abandoned temple of Scalecaller, battle your way through plague-twisted monsters and cultists, face the resurrected Dragon Priest, and put a stop to her vile plans.
Fang Lair
The lost Dwarven ruins of Fang Lair were once the final resting place of the mighty dragon Thurvokun. Now, it is inhabited by a dangerous Necromancer cult and their monstrous creations. However, the Blackmarrow Cult wants more than lost treasure: they aim to reanimate the bones of the long-dead Dragon himself! Make your way through the lost site and stop the powerful Necromancer Orryn the Black before he can bring his terrible new weapon to bear on the people of Tamriel.
Both of these new dungeons can be completed in normal or veteran difficulties and contain a veteran hard mode option for those groups who truly want to be challenged. Each dungeon has its own unique rewards, too, including new gear sets, monster sets, achievements, costumes and skins, and, of course, trophies.
Purchase Details
The Dragon Bones DLC game pack is completely free to ESO Plus members or available for purchase for 1500 crowns from the in-game Crown Store. To buy the pack, navigate to the in-game Crown Store and find it in the DLC section.

Dragon Bones Collector's Bundle
In addition to the DLC game pack, the Dragon Bones Collector's Bundle is available for 4000 crowns from the in-game Crown Store.

Update 17 For All
The Update 17 base-game patch will also arrive alongside the Dragon Bones DLC game pack as a free update for all ESO players. This update contains a host of amazing new features and improvements to The Elder Scrolls Online that everybody can enjoy.
Outfit System
Be who you want to be with the new Outfit System! Now, you can completely customize almost every aspect of your appearance with unique Outfits, regardless of the gear you are wearing. You will have one free Outfit that you can customize at a cost of gold, but should you wish, you can purchase additional Outfits and Outfit Change Tokens (allowing you to save gold) from the in-game Crown Store. To begin customizing your Outfit, locate a new Outfit Station (previously known as Dye Stations).
Check out our Outfit System Basics Guide for everything you need to know!
Home Storage
Paratopic for mac mojave. With Update 17, we are also introducing a new home furnishings type: storage containers. With storage containers, you can finally store bankable items in your own homes, freeing up space from your bank, inventory, or craft bag. You can earn the first of these by leveling a character to level 18 and receiving it as a level-up reward, but there are seven additional containers you can acquire from in-game vendors and the Crown Store.
You can learn more about Home Storage in this feature article.
Elder Scrolls Online Gold Pack
New Level-Up Experience
In order to help players better understand the game and how to develop their characters, we've introduced a new level-up experience. Now, when you level up in The Elder Scrolls Online, you'll receive unique rewards and helpful gameplay tips to help you on your adventures. In addition to this, we've created a new Skills Advisor tool that you can use to help pick your character's skills and abilities based on a desired archetype.
You can find out more about this new system in our feature article.
Combat Improvements
In addition to the new features above, we've made some dramatic changes to ESO's combat system. These changes include improvements to Synergies, the removal of area-of-effect caps, changes to block costs, changes to cast-time abilities and interrupts, and changes to how Heavy Attacks and the Off Balance mechanic work.
Elder Scrolls For Mac
These changes are designed to make combat in ESO even more responsive, tactical, and skillful, and you can learn more about them in our feature article.
New PvP Battlegrounds For You To Conquer
Update 17 will also arrive with two brand-new PvP Battlegrounds. These new arenas will test you and your PvP team in new and different ways.
Mor Khazgur
This Orc stronghold has seen more than its fair share of conflict over the ages, but thanks to its precarious ledges and limited visibility, it is now the perfect arena for 4v4v4 battles.
Deeping Drome
Set deep beneath Tamriel, this cavernous arena is illuminated by the glow of the surrounding mushrooms, lighting your way through its tight corners and winding pathways.
You and your allies can access both Battlegrounds via the regular Grab Bag Battlegrounds queue in your Group & Activity Finder. Note that you must have ESO: Morrowind installed in order to participate in Battlegrounds matches.
Ancient Threats Rise Again
The dead don't always stay dead. In Dragon Bones, long-forgotten powers have returned to once again plague Tamriel. Will you answer the call of the Undaunted and venture into Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair? Let us know on Twitter @TESOnline and Facebook!
