The Escapists 2 is the sequel to The Escapists and the third game in the The Escapists series. The game was developed by Team17 and Mouldy Toof Studios and was released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on August 22nd, 2017. It was released on Nintendo Switch on January 11th, 2018 and on IOS and Android on February 5, 2019. The game has more detailed sprites and tiles, more ways to escape, more things to craft out of old toothbrushes and belly button fluff, a revised battle system, and more. It also provides multiplayer for up to four players. The game launched with 10 prisons and an additional called The Glorious Regime, which came free if you pre-ordered and became a paid DLC for those who didn't. Over time 5 more DLC prisons were added.

This is a simulation game in which players must navigate their time in prison in order to find a means of escape. From a top-down perspective, players control a small figure through various aspects of prison life: meals, showers, searches, and violent encounters with guards and other inmates. Players can craft weapons from items (e.g., shivs, stun guns, whips) and are able to use tools (e.g., crowbars, brooms, pickaxes) to engage in melee combat with other characters. Prisoners can pummel each other to gain standing, resulting in dizzy-star effects above fallen opponents. Characters sometimes make suggestive comments while inmates are showering (e.g., “That guard's perving on you”; “We're no strangers to love”; “Caught you looking…”; “Not now, got a headache.”).

The Escapists 2 received 'generally favorable' and 'mixed or average' reviews on Metacritic receiving a metascore of 75/100 on both PC^[1] & PS4,^[2] 77/100 on Xbox One,^[3] and 73/100 on Nintendo Switch.^[4]

The Glorious Regime is a map in The Escapists 2 and is unlocked by pre-ordering the game or purchasing it as DLC. Bomber crew crack. Waking up at a very early time of 04:00, they have 4 roll calls. There are 12 inmates, 18 guards, and 2 SWAT Guards. Perimeter Breakouts have to be quick as there is only 5 minutes of Lights Out.Good luck and always praise our Glorious Leader!

This is a SINGLE player only escape. Arguably the easiest way to escape, since very few items are needed.

Preparation:[edit | edit source]

• Get 50 intellect
• 2x Ice Pack
• 1x Roll of Duct Tape
• 1x Infirmary Outfit

The Escape:[edit | edit source]

Craft a Heart Rate Slower from two Ice Pack and a single Roll of Duct Tape. Cb4g - seaplanes download for mac. Beat up an inmate or search desks to get a Tub of Bleach to craft an Infirmary Outfit, because one of the ice packs is in the Medic Desk in the infirmary. Go to the Infirmary with the Heart Rate Slower, ignore the Scanner (you can easily escape before you're busted) then go to the white bed and press escape.

Get to da' chopper![edit | edit source]

This is a MULTIPLAYER only escape, meaning that it cannot be completed in single player.

Preparation:[edit | edit source]

• Get 70 Intellect
• You'll need to find/buy/get the following items:
  • 1x Soap
  • 1x Lighter
  • 1x Jar of Ink
  • 1x Wax
  • 1x Dinner Tray
  • 1x Tool Handle (or craft with 1x Timber and 1x File)
  • 1x + 2 per player Crowbar
  • 3x + 1 per player Roll of Duct Tape
  • 1 per player Length of Rope
  • 2x Timber

Next, craft the following items

• Soap and Wax to make Gun Making Kit.
• Gun Making Kit, Lighter, and Dinner Tray to make Moulded Gun,
• Moulded Gun and Jar of Ink to make Fake Gun.
• Tool Handle, Crowbar, and Duct Tape to make Flimsy Pickaxe, then Lightweight Pickaxe, and finally a Sturdy Pickaxe.

(The Dinner Tray can usually be found in guard quarters behind red doors, or the northwest multiplayer room. The Dinner Tray is blocked off by boxes, so you will need to use the Sturdy Pickaxe to dig under.)

Escape Method 2[edit | edit source]

This escape can be performed at any time.

• Buy or make a Contraband Pouch for each member of your party.
• Take or make an Infirmary Outfit or Guard Outfit.
• Get a Red Key for everyone in your party. You can get them from quests, eliminating the need to make one.
• First, put on the Infirmary or Guard Outfit, grab the Red Keys and Contraband Pouches. You will also need the Fake Gun.
• Next, go in the room right of the Control Room. Go through the Contraband Detector, and up the stairs. Go through the red door on your left and up the stairs. Go up the last set of stairs.
• Finally, press/click escape and you're free!

Perimeter Breakout[edit | edit source]

• Preparation:
• Get 60 Intellect

• You'll need to find/buy/get the following items:
  • 4x File
  • 3x Roll of Duct Tape
  • 2x Pillow
• Next, craft then following items:
  • File and Duct Tape to make Sturdy Cutters
  • Bed Sheet and Pillow to make Bed Dummy
• The Escape:
  • Place the Bed Dummy, then head to the last Roll Call, at 22:00
  • Once Lights Out begins, cut through to the generator, and turn it off
  • Then, make your way down past the Exercise Room, then the Worker's Room Past it
  • Cut the fence right next to the Light Post
  • Run down and to the right, then walk out the entrance
